A School of Design & Production produced installation in the “Freedom of Expression Area” at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, April 2nd-16th, 2023. Tent City will inspire introspection, empathy, and activism by allowing systemic failures affecting an under-voiced community to unfold in front of our audience’s eyes. Inspired by our own connections to the affordable housing crisis, we hope our audience challenges their own personal biases about what home is and take action.
